Coronavirus Updates & Resources
for Residents
As part of our proactive efforts to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), we are committed to heightened hygiene and sanitation practices, and strict physical distancing. We strongly urge all residents and visitors to do the same, and to be vigilant about washing hands frequently, wearing a mask, keeping a safe physical distance (6 feet minimum), keeping your home extra clean and sanitized, and self-quarantining at home if you become ill or exposed to someone with COVID-19.
MAINTENANCE REQUESTS
In the interest of resident and staff safety, for any maintenance requests, please confirm whether or not you or anyone in your unit has been ill, had fever, cough or any virus symptoms, or had direct exposure to someone with COVID-19, in the past 14 days. Any questions or concerns, please text us 920-335-7082 or call us 502-485-9799 ext 1.
We will not send any staff or contractors into your home if they have had any virus symptoms, been ill, or had direct exposure to someone with COVID-19.
Maintenance staff wash hands frequently and use hand sanitizer in the field. We will always wear masks in an occupied unit and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us.
RENT PAYMENTS
Rent must still be paid in full. It is very important that you proactively communicate with us in advance if you anticipate any problems making your payment.
We have since April been able to waive late fees, and extend payment plans and every possible courtesy to assist our residents through this challenging time. Please be advised that standard late fees are being charged again starting November 5, 2020. Account balance is due on 1st of each month, and needs to be paid in full no later than 4th of month to be on time. Payments on 5th will incur $25.00 late fee, plus $5.00 per day from 6th until balance is paid in full.
Consideration for late fee reduction will be given, provided residents contact us in advance and provide documentation showing that you have been directly affected by Covid-19 due to loss of employment, illness, direct caregiving commitments, etc.
SPECIAL REQUESTS
Please do NOT flush anything down the toilet other than toilet paper. NEVER flush any foreign objects including paper towels, and especially wipes — even if the product says it’s flushable, it is not. Any drain that becomes clogged due to your flushing such foreign objects will result in your being responsible for the repair cost.
COMMUNICATION
We are not offering office hours, and in-person appointments will be reduced to the extent possible. We will communicate as much as possible by phone, text, and email. Applications, leases, lease renewals, and other documentation will continue to be done online.
We encourage all residents to use the online resident portal to submit maintenance requests, and pay rent online from your bank account.
Please contact us with any questions or concerns. We can be reached any time by phone (502-485-9799), text (920-335-7082) and email.
We take resident and staff safety very seriously, and appreciate your understanding and patience as we all work through this challenging experience together. This information will be updated as the situation develops. In the meantime, be compassionate, safe and healthy.
